End of Season Tournament

The season went by fast, and it's already time for the last tournament of the ABCeason, which means we're crowning a new King and Queen. Like usual we're closing the day out with a BBQ, and this year will be even better.

How does this format work?

Everyone plays 6 games across two poules, 3 in each. Both poule phases are played same sex. The first poule mixes levels, and how you place there decides where you end up after the break: the top half goes into the King and Queen bracket, everyone else into the Prince and Princess bracket. Both brackets run the same way, so even if the morning didn't go your way there's still a title on the line in the afternoon.

The top half of each afternoon poule moves on to the eliminations, which are played mixed gender. We keep eliminating until 2 men and 2 women are left in each bracket, and they play for the titles. The exact finals we'll explain on the day.

Good to know

There is no maximum number of players, so expect more waiting time than usual. Bring games and other things to do between the beachvolleyballing.

At 11:00 sharp the first poules start, and each poule begins as soon as the previous one finishes. We post the schedule the day before. If you play at 11, be there around 10:30 to warm up.
