Get ready for the next tournament on Saturday, August 15th, this time with a new format!
How does this format work?
You play with a new partner every round and every field is ranked, so win and you climb, lose and you drop. The levels sort themselves out as the day goes on, which means every match should be a close one.
Within each pair, one player is the "Batman" (higher rank) and the other the "Robin" (lower rank). Only one player per team moves up or down after each result, and which one moves depends on this Batman/Robin distinction:
- Batman wins → promotes, becomes Robin on the higher court.
- Robin wins → becomes Batman on the same court.
- Batman loses → becomes Robin on the same court.
- Robin loses → demotes, becomes Batman on the lower court.
